Life Contract is a glimpse at my artistic journey in a narrative format. Starting from my developmental years to now, I’ve gathered artifacts to present my life’s work from my perspective. Rather than a series of finished pieces and accomplishments lined up on a wall, I wanted to highlight my journey as a person experiencing these moments in succession and the path I took to create them.

The audience sees artists’ finished works, or may come to a show and only be familiar with their more well known pieces. What they don’t always see, is the process behind these punctuation marks, life’s ups and downs, and the man, many failures and winding roads that preceded a particular triumph. I wanted to show a visual evolution of who I was as a kid and how I managed to keep that part of me intact through a personal commitment to authenticity, and building trust in my own vision and taste.
